    Do you know if anyone can get real time data. Not the ticker tape, but the stock quotes in the pse website. THe system gets so slow sometimes…

    Rose, for real time data u need to subscribe on online stock trading. D realible un website ng pse.gov.ph, bagal ng ticker tape. (oopss… that is for PSEi) don’t know sa iba.

    If that is the answer it is called a ‘naked’ short.
    One can own the stock already and short it still. Also ‘naked’ short selling has been banned on some overseas exchanges.
